Loras College Writing Center Logo

Welcome to the Loras College Writing Center!

To make an appointment,
log in with your Loras email (eg., AB123456@loras.edu) and password
(the same password you use to log in to your Loras laptop).

As the best writers know,
great ideas come from conversations
between people who care.

Writing tutors care about your writing and serve as your friendly guides to reducing stress, saving time, and helping you level-up your writing. They can work with you on your writing projects--from brainstorming and pre-writing to revision and polishing.

Are you in Dr. Kanyusik or Dr. Clark's ENG 105 College Writing? Need to make a workshop appointment with your embedded tutor?

Once you've logged on to the schedule, click on "Show All 'Limit to:' Options" and select "ENG105 Workshop Only" to find available workshop slots. Up to five students can sign up for one workshop slot.

To make a standard, one-on-one appointment with a writing tutor, click on "Show All 'Limit to:' Options" and select "General." General appointments are open to ALL Loras students!

Now that the Writing Center is offering both online and in-person appointments, working with writing tutors is more convenient than ever.

When you make an appointment, you will be prompted to choose from the following options:

Schedule Face-to-Face appointment (in the Learning Commons area of the library)

Schedule Online appointment (using video conferencing)

Schedule eTutoring appointment (you upload a document and tutor emails you a response)

In the meanwhile, if you have any questions or concerns,
please email Dr. Clark at naomi.clark@loras.edu.
